Wikis

I am not too inspired about how I feel about wikis. I think they are great way of putting information together. I love Wikipedia especially when it come to pop culture references--anything that is "new".

I am thinking a lot about moving to the new library and wondering if I should set up a wiki for the staff to use as we gather information about the move.

Sooo many books

Due to fellow employees being way ahead of me on Discover 2.0, I have actually had a GoodReads account for about a year. It appeals to my list making sensibilities. For years I have kept a paper list of what I have read. However I don't carry that list around with me. What I like about Good Reads is that I can access it anywhere and call up the title of that good book I read a month ago but can't remember anything about. I did dutifully sign up for librarything, but I won't use it since I am comfortable with my Goodreads account. In fact I noticed that Goodreads can be added to my facebook page so I may be doing that!
